Eunjeong (EJ) Kim

EJ brings a wealth of international experience in commercial contracts and construction projects, derived from her previous in-house exposures at Hyundai Heavy Industries in Korea, BW Offshore in Singapore, and Linde Engineering North America. She has been instrumental in negotiations and dispute resolution involving major energy companies, state-owned enterprises, and foreign governments in connection with multi-billion-dollar Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects in Asia, Africa, Europe, and the United States. 

Collaborating with global companies and foreign governments, EJ has played a key role in establishing joint ventures, resulting in diverse litigation experiences, including cases related to tax, intellectual property rights, and antitrust matters.

At K-Ridge, EJ has broadened her expertise to commercial investment transactions, advocating for investors in private equity projects. She has assisted American companies in entering the Korean market through joint ventures and investment opportunities. Concurrently, she dedicates considerable effort to facilitating the entry of Korean companies into the U.S., providing support for their seamless settlement and business operations. EJ  also represents corporate clients in court, handling a variety of issues ranging from contract disputes to employment matters. 

EJ received her J.D. with Honors from Emory University School of Law. Distinguished in legal writing, she served as an editor for the Emory International Law Review and a teaching assistant for Professor Paul R. Koster’s Legal Writing class.
